The consultation hours offer 1-on-1 support for an applicant who is going to submit a personal grant in an upcoming deadline. This consultation can only be accepted if you intend to have Leiden University as your host institute. This time we offer consultation hours for the ERC Consolidator (CoG) grant.
The consultation hours in this calendar are provided by the Grant Development team, which are second in line support as part of the Research Funding Community. Always get in touch with your local advisor before you book an appointment with a second line advisor (see Research funding - Leiden University (universiteitleiden.nl) for contact details). This will be checked, as you need Institute approval and some local support also provides reviews. The necessary embedding guarantee or Host Institution Support Letter from Leiden University can also not be provided by the second line.
How does it work?
1) Register for one time slot that fits in your preparation time line. If you do not have a user account yet, please sign in first. Then click on the preferred slot. Slots are filled on a first come, first served basis.
You can only reschedule by removing your appointment and picking a new slot that is still open. An appointment needs to be made at least 3 days in advance to allow the advisor enough time to prepare.
2) Prepare for the meeting. The minimum requirement for the consultation varies between consultation hours intented for an intake, pre-proposal of full proposal. This is indicated separately per call (see below).
3) Send your prepared material at least 3 days before the consultation hour to the advisor. In the confirmation e-mail, you will receive information on how to contact the appropriate advisor.
4) The advisor will read the material and give oral feedback during the consultation hour.
